These policies apply to continuing education courses offered by Put In Black LLC. Last updated October 6, 2026.
Refunds and cancellations
If you cancel
You can cancel for a full refund up to 7 days before the course. Email cortney@putinblack.com with the name and email you registered with.
Within 7 days of the course, refunds are not available.
If you register but do not attend, or leave before the instructional time ends, no refund is given.
If we cancel or reschedule
If Put In Black LLC cancels the course, you receive a full refund.
If we reschedule, you can keep your place for the new date or ask for a full refund. We will email you as soon as we know.
If the course cannot go ahead because of a technical problem on our side, you can choose a full refund or a place in the rescheduled session.
How refunds work
Refunds go back to the card you paid with. They usually arrive within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank. Your Zoom registration is cancelled when the refund is made.
Questions about a charge
If something looks wrong with a charge, please email cortney@putinblack.com first. We reply within 2 business days and will put it right.
Terms
- Your registration. Each registration is for one person. Your Zoom link is personal and works on one device at a time. Please do not share it.
- Payment. Prices are in US dollars. Payment is taken in full at registration and processed securely by Stripe. Put In Black LLC never sees or stores your card number.
- CE credit. Credit requires attending the full instructional time and passing the post-test. Attendance is verified with Zoom attendance records. Certificates are emailed to participants who meet the requirements.
- Recording. Some sessions are recorded, showing the speaker only. When a session will be recorded, the course page says so before you register. Please do not record sessions yourself.
- Course materials. Materials are for your own learning. Please do not copy, sell, or share them without permission.
- Educational purpose. Courses are educational. They are not therapy, clinical supervision, or medical advice, and attending does not create a therapist and client relationship.
- Changes. If course details change after you register, we will email you.
Accessibility
Courses are presented live on Zoom, with captions available. If you require accommodation to participate, please contact us in advance at cortney@putinblack.com. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests.
