Showcasing black women in joyous scenarios fuels my work, I don’t agree with the stereotypes of black women so I seek to re-frame our portrayal through colorful and positive imagery. This piece in particular Limin’ , is based off of the Guyanese saying “Tonight we goin an lime” for going out on the town with your friends. This piece is a snapshot during a night of fun.
