The thought behind my work is derived from self love. I feel that self love is one of the most important mental states to thrive from. My paintings are my expression of the black woman. She is everything, she is magical and exudes beauty from head to toe. My pieces focus on the art in our hair, the art of our bone structure and the art of the hues of our skin. We are strong, we are proud and we are resilient.
